Family-Centered Therapy for LATE TALKERS

Engaging support for children just starting to use words. We use toys, music, and movement to encourage first words and spark communication in a way that feels natural and fun.

Speech therapy for late talkers will help your child:

Alyssa M. Doyle, M.S., CCC-SLP

Welcome! I’m Alyssa Doyle, a pediatric speech therapist with over ten years of experience working with young children and their families. After graduating with my master’s degree, I began my career in New York’s Early Intervention program and later spent several years in New Jersey public schools, supporting children from preschool through third grade. Along the way, I’ve led early literacy programs, supported AAC users, and mentored other SLPs— all while focusing on helping kids become confident, capable communicators.

I started Doyle Speech and Beyond because I wanted to offer more personalized, family-centered care than what’s often possible in larger systems. As a mom myself, I know how much it matters to feel heard and supported. My mission is to meet each child where they are, follow their lead, and use play, connection, and trust to spark real growth.

Outside of work, I love spending time in nature with my husband and our two-year-old son. I enjoy baking sourdough bread, practicing yoga, and slowing down to appreciate family life. Some of my favorite places are the comfort of home, the peaceful Mohonk Mountain House in New York, and the charm of Cape May, NJ.

We offer small-group classes designed to support early communication and caregiver-child connection through structured routines, playful activities, and supportive environments. All classes are led by a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Cozy Connections

Spots Still Open!

A calm, cozy class designed to support early language and connection through songs, stories, sensory play, and simple routines. Caregivers leave with coffee or tea, and little ones take home a healthy treat both provided by CREW in Chatham.

Ages: 1–3 with caregiver
Location: 14 Main Street, Suite 102, Madison, NJ
Schedule: Tuesdays, 9:00–9:45 AM
Begins: September 9, 2025 to October 28, 2025 (8 weeks)

Move & Connect

Ages: 3–5 with caregiver
Location: Livingston Gym, Livingston, NJ
Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:00–3:45 AM
Begins: September 9, 2025 to October 21, 2025 (7 weeks)

A unique collaboration between Doyle Speech and Beyond and Livingston Gym, this class blends early movement and communication support in a structured but playful setting. Designed for children with or without developmental differences, Move & Connect supports turn-taking, regulation, communication, and sensory needs through gym-based activities. Visual schedules, routines, and supports are included.

Language Enrichment at Little Explorers

Ages: 2–5
Location: Little Explorers Early Learning Academy, Livingston, NJ
Schedule: Current

This fun, themed class focuses on vocabulary, concepts, turn-taking, and early sentence building through play, movement, crafts, and stories. Offered exclusively to children enrolled at Little Explorers.

Why Group Classes?

Group classes offer a language-rich environment where children learn through observation, repetition, and hands-on exploration. Caregivers also gain tools and strategies they can carry into daily routines.
